When not being subjected to self-esteem classes as part of the Tustin Unified School District's prized Project Self- Esteem Program, he played piano and pretended not to do well in school. During college, he became a founding member of Ziran -- LA's first Chinese pop/rock cover band. In Boston he continued in the Sinorock genre with WuXian. After Big Matty C taught him how to play the guitar, the creative juices started flowing and Mark was ready to launch a new career in the intelligible rock scene. |
